Accessibility statement

Gold Standard Analytics is committed to a website and service that everyone can use, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page states the standard we build to, what we have done, what we know is not finished, and how to get help or report a barrier.

Effective October 1, 2026Gold Standard Analytics LLC, 5151 Mitchelldale St A10, Houston, TX 77092. Legal and billing: 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801

Standard and legal basis

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we are tracking WCAG 2.2. This is the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III as applied to places of public accommodation with an online presence, by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for federal procurement (relevant to our SAM.gov registration), and by Texas Government Code Chapter 2054 and Texas Administrative Code Title 1, Chapter 206 and 213 for state agency vendors.

Certificates of analysis are also published as tagged, text-based PDF where downloaded, so results are readable by screen readers and not only as images.

What we have done

  • Semantic structure: one H1 per page, headings in order, landmarks (header, main, footer), lists and tables marked up as such, real table headers on every data table.
  • Keyboard: every control is reachable and operable by keyboard; a visible 2px focus ring on every interactive element; a skip-to-content link on every page; menus close on Escape; the services strip opens on focus and can be entered with the arrow keys.
  • Contrast: all text meets 4.5:1 (3:1 for large headings) against its background. Gold is never used as text on light grounds. Verdicts are conveyed with a word (Pass, Fail, Retracted), never with color alone.
  • Forms: every field has a visible label; errors are announced inline and name the fix; required steps are stated up front; codes and payment links are sent to a verified email and phone so you can complete them in whatever channel works for you.
  • Images: every photograph carries descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology; labelled placeholders state what the photo will show.
  • Motion: transitions are short, nothing moves under the cursor except a 1px press, and every animation collapses to its end state when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Text: resizes to 200% without loss of content or function; layouts reflow to 320px wide; no text is embedded in images; body copy is capped at a readable measure.
  • Time: no timeouts on reading; verification codes last 10 minutes and can be resent; crypto rate locks are stated and re-quoted rather than expiring the order.
  • Alternatives: everything on the site can also be done by phone (346 770 3170, answered 24/7), email, or through the Telegram and WhatsApp bots, which work with screen readers on those platforms.

Known limitations

  • Chromatogram images on certificates are described in a caption but not yet available as data tables on every record.
  • Third-party payment pages (Stripe, Mercury, Paygate) and messaging platforms are governed by their own accessibility statements.
  • Some equipment listing photographs supplied by marketplace sellers arrive without alt text; we add a description within two business days of listing.
  • Video of sample receiving has no audio and therefore no captions; a written receiving log accompanies each clip.

How we test

Automated checks (axe-core) run on every deployment. Manual checks with NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android are performed quarterly and whenever a page is redesigned. A third-party audit against WCAG 2.1 AA is scheduled annually; the latest report is available on request.

Feedback and accommodation

If you meet a barrier, or need a certificate, invoice or any page in another format (large print, plain text, Braille-ready, audio), contact team@goldstandardanalytics.com or call 346 770 3170, answered 24/7. We acknowledge within one business day and aim to provide the accommodation within five. Laboratory tours can be arranged with step-free access and an escort; the facility has an accessible entrance and restroom.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division (ada.gov) or, in Texas, with the Texas Workforce Commission Civil Rights Division. Effective September 7, 2026.
