What it does
Every certificate on the page
Click the Gold Standard button on a product page. Every certificate number and certificate link is checked against our records and marked Pass, Fail, Retracted or Not found.
Edited PDFs caught
A seller’s copy of a certificate should be the exact file we issued. The extension compares it byte for byte with the official PDF and tells you if anything changed.
Certificates posted as pictures
Right-click a certificate image and the extension reads the QR code printed on every Gold Standard certificate, then checks it.
Price per milligram, checked
The extension prices a product per labelled milligram, and per measured milligram when the certificate states the amount in each vial. It also shows the tested lot’s net peptide content.
Retraction alerts
Follow a certificate to hear if we ever withdraw it, or follow a compound or a brand to hear when a new public certificate is issued.
For sellers: store coverage
Scan your Shopify or WooCommerce store to see which products carry a certificate, catch listings that point to a retracted one, and start one testing order per category for the rest.
What the verdicts mean
- Verified · Pass: a genuine Gold Standard certificate, and every published result was within specification.
- Verified · Fail: a genuine certificate on which at least one result was out of specification. The certificate is real; the product failed a test.
- Retracted: we withdrew the certificate. Do not rely on it.
- Not found: no public certificate has that number. It may be private (ask the seller for its verification link), mistyped, or not genuine.
A certificate covers one lot. Match the lot number on the certificate to the product you receive. The extension checks Gold Standard certificates only; for another lab’s report it names the lab and points you to its own verification page and to our lab comparisons.
Private by design
The extension sends goldstandardanalytics.com only the certificate numbers it checks (and a private certificate’s own key, when a link carries one): not the pages you visit, not your browsing history. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. Your history and follows stay in your browser. Read the full extension privacy policy.

Common questions
How do I know whether a certificate of analysis is real?
Check it against the laboratory that signed it, not against the shop showing it. Every Gold Standard certificate has an accession number (GSA-YYYY-NNNNNN) and lives at goldstandardanalytics.com/verify. This extension does that check for you on the page you are reading, for each certificate number and link it finds, and it compares a seller's PDF with the file we issued so an edited copy cannot pass.
What does “Not found” mean? Is the certificate fake?
It means no public Gold Standard certificate carries that number. That can happen for three reasons: the certificate is private and needs its verification link, the number was mistyped, or it is not genuine. Ask the seller for the verification link; a real certificate always has one.
Can it verify a certificate from another laboratory?
No, and it never pretends to. Gold Standard can only speak for the certificates it issued. When a page names another lab, the extension tells you which one and links to that lab's own verification page, alongside our comparison of that lab and Gold Standard.
The shop posted the COA as a picture or a PDF. Can it still check it?
Yes. Right-click a certificate image and the extension reads the QR code printed on every Gold Standard certificate. For a PDF, it compares the seller's file byte for byte with the official one, so a changed number, date or result shows up immediately.
What does the extension send to Gold Standard?
Only the certificate numbers it checks, plus a private certificate's own key when a link you check carries one. It never sends the pages you visit or your browsing history, it has no account and no analytics, and nothing is read until you click, unless you turn on automatic checking yourself.
Does it cost anything?
No. The extension is free, and so is checking any certificate at goldstandardanalytics.com/verify. Testing a product is what we charge for.
