Most laboratories run a LIMS for samples, a separate folder of instrument files, a spreadsheet for prep, and an accounting package that never sees either. LabOS is one record per sample, and every stage writes to it.
Carrier scan opens the record, receiving photographs every container, and the accession carries a check digit and a bench blind code.
Prep sheets generate from the method. Balances and pipettes report their own numbers, so dilutions are captured rather than transcribed.
Worklists are built, pushed and watched. Raw files come back, integrate against the stored method and never get edited in place.
Certificates compile from the record: results, spec, methods, instrument IDs, LOD and LOQ, chromatogram, signature and hash.
The invoice is raised from the panel that actually ran, not from what was quoted, so rushes and add-ons never go unbilled.
Calibration schedule, service records, deviations, CAPAs, training records and document control in the same system as the results.
LabOS builds the worklist, pushes it to the instrument, watches the run, pulls the raw file back and integrates it against the method. No one exports a CSV and no one types a result.

A carrier scan opens the record before anyone touches the box. LabOS photographs the contents on the receiving camera, weighs each container and holds the package as unaccessioned until a second person confirms the manifest matches.
The record is the product. LabOS is designed so that an auditor can reconstruct any number on any certificate from the raw file that produced it.

LabOS is built to 21 CFR Part 11-style expectations for electronic records and signatures. Software cannot make a laboratory compliant on its own: your SOPs, training records and method validation are still yours to hold. We supply the validation package and the audit trail specification so your assessor has something to read.

Migration from an existing LIMS, method porting and on-site installation are quoted separately. Academic and non-profit laboratories are priced at half the listed rate.
The evaluation build is the production build with a thirty-day licence file. Nothing is stripped out, and an evaluation database converts in place when you license it.
Builds are released to named laboratories. Tell us the site and the instruments and we send a signed installer and a licence file the same business day.
Laboratories that send us work get the first year at half price, and your existing accessions import with their certificates attached.
